14 Dec 2024, Saturday - MAKISA PLT held its annual Zakat and Contribution Ceremony, an event that underscores its commitment to community welfare and fostering unity. This year, the distribution of RM15,000 to 50 beneficiaries was made possible through a collaborative effort with Sutera Matra, reflecting a shared dedication to supporting those in need. In addition, MAKISA PLT contributed an extra RM10,000 to assist flood victims in Derang, Pokok Sena, demonstrating its responsiveness to urgent humanitarian needs.
The ceremony also featured a Bacaan Yasin/Tahlil and Doa, offering attendees an opportunity for spiritual reflection and togetherness. Following this, a festive meal was served to 150 guests, creating a warm and inclusive atmosphere. MAKISA PLT further extended its appreciation to the public by distributing random free gifts, fostering goodwill and strengthening community relationships.
This annual tradition not only highlights MAKISA PLT and Sutera Matra shared mission of uplifting communities but also emphasizes the importance of collaboration in making a meaningful impact.
