10 March 2024, Sunday - Retail Partner En. Farhan from Syarikat Persaudaraan Muhibbah Sdn Bhd (Sg Pasir) recently organised the “Kacau Bubur Lambuk” Programme 2024 at Caltex Sungai Pasir, Kedah. The event was participated by several Retail Partners - Syarikat Persaudaraan Muhibbah Sdn Bhd (Sg Pasir & Sg Layar), Syarikat Yamin and RA Utara Guar Cempedak Sdn Bhd.
The event created a joyful atmosphere and sweet memories between the volunteers and station staff. The station got packed with visitors as volunteers served “bubur lambuk”, a type of flavoured Malay rice porridge. Aroma of the spices, coconut milk, and herbs from the “bubur lambuk” filled the air, attracting passersby to join this community feast.
Strangers became acquaintances, sharing smiles and stories while enjoying their delicious dishes. Throughout the event, the station was transformed into a community sharing centre, where the distribution of “bubur lambuk” fostered good relationships amongst the people there. As the sun set, it reminded everyone that the breaking of fast was not just about nourishing the body but also cleansing the soul.
