1. Is Retail Buzz still bilingual?
Yes, Retail Buzz 2.0 will remain bilingual - English and Bahasa Malaysia. Users will be asked to select their preferred language when they visit the website - www.retailbuzz.com.my
2. How is RB 2.0 different from the previous version?
The main differences are:-
- News and other information are updated as regularly as possible. There is no need to wait for a quarterly RB issue.
- Articles will focus more on images and videos to cater to our retail partners’ “on-the-go” lifestyle.
- A WhatsApp News Summary is sent to everyone every 2 weeks (fortnight)
- A search function that allows users to search for relevant news / information from the various articles.
3. What kind of news and information will readers get?
Readers will get:-
- Video messages from the Chevron leadership team News and information updates from the various teams at Chevron Malaysia
- Sharing of Branded Marketers and Retail Partners: local station marketing (LSM) initiatives station social responsibility (SSR) efforts

4. How do I ensure I get the Fortnightly WhatsApp News Summary?
All users need to save the official Retail Buzz WhatsApp number +6010-8441775 as a contact on their mobile phone. If the mobile number is not saved, the WhatsApp system does not allow you to receive any WhatsApp Blast messages.
5. Do I need a login account to view?
No, users will not need a login account.
6. What is the WIRA CALTEX campaign?
WIRA CALTEX is a quarterly contest for all registered station staff, both fulltime and parttime, to win attractive cash vouchers and winners’ certificates.
This quarterly contest is organized by Chevron Malaysia to keep the frontliners informed on the latest promotions and important station operational information.
7. How does WIRA CALTEX benefit the station owners and staff?
Station Owners
- The quarterly campaign is organized at NO COST to station owners.
- The station staff will be excited to know about the latest promotions and will be reminded of the important Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as they will be rewarded for being knowledgeable about the roles at the station.
- Station Owners will be proud of the staff’s achievements when they are able to be amongst the Top 10 winners each quarter.
- Station recognition / highlight in Retail Buzz when your staff is amongst the Top 10 winners.
Station Staff
- Staff are rewarded and recognized for becoming the best at what they do at the station.
- Staff can potentially become consecutive winners if they are resourceful and hardworking to participate regularly in the WIRA CALTEX campaign
- The 1st prize winner will be featured in Retail Buzz.
