7 March 2024, Wednesday - The Ministry of Domestic Trade and Cost of Living (KPDNKK) today opens up the much awaited application portal for the nine (9) vehicle categories covered in the Subsidised Diesel Control System (SKDS) at https://mysubsidi.kpdn.gov.my/login.

Even before the official launch of the SKDS portal, Chevron and Caltex stations were busy engaging both existing and potential customers to share about the government’s diesel subsidy program.

In February, two Retail Partners - Mosat Management & SK Setia organised an event at their stations for their local account customers. The events were to create more awareness about the SKDS program, vehicle eligibility and encourage more StarCard sign-ups. Customers were also encouraged to invite their friends to join in the session. Stations need to be more proactive in helping existing eligible StarCard customers to register and to reach out to more potential customers in this critical time.

Many activities are being planned out for March and in the coming months. If Retail Partners and Station Managers plan to conduct similar events at your station with your local account customers, they are to:-

  1. Identify existing local account customers, StarCard customers and also prospective customers within their trading area
  2. Identify suitable venues to have the briefing. Is the station a feasible location? Can it accommodate all your customers? When do you plan to have it? Propose a date and time.
  3. Once you have the above, contact your RBC. The RBC will liaise internally with other supporting departments e.g. StarCard, Marketing, Sales Support, etc.

In the meantime, stations can refer to the PANDUAN PENGGUNA AWAM (SKDS), FAQ SISTEM MYSUBSIDI DIESEL 2.0 BARANGAN KPDN 06 MAC 2024 and other resources listed below:-
