Pen Petroleum : Awareness Brings Preparation
13 January 2025, Monday - Branded Marketer Pen Petroleum hosted three virtual meetings themed "Jom Bersama-sama 2025: Awareness Brings Preparation".
The main objective of this program was to provide an overview of key updates related to the petrol service station business and prepare retailers under their network, for the year ahead.
The main speaker, Mr. Chandra Mohan (Key Account Business Consultant), shared a wealth of insights and industry best practices to Retail Partners. The knowledge gained will allow the retailers to proactively prepare for changes and potential challenges, fostering confidence and determination for the year ahead.
Some of the topics covered in the program included:
• Minimum wage implementation, tobacco display rules, RON95 subsidy rationalization, E-invoicing requirements and hiring of foreign workers
• Lookback SKDS 2.0 under Caltex - Stations made exceptional efforts to sign up customers for SKDS 2.0 by quickly adapting to changes and actively engaging customers since the SKDS 2.0 announcement by the government.
• Focus on Outcomes - Retailers were encouraged to prepare thoroughly, as preparation itself drives outcomes. Achieving meaningful outcomes requires thoughtful planning and execution. Retailers need to focus on actions that deliver long-term positive impacts for the business.
