“Gotong Royong” with Chaah’s Kampung Jawa Residents
24 June 2023, Saturday -- Caltex Chaah and the residents of Kampung Jawa in Chaah came together on a beautiful Saturday morning for a “Gotong Royong”.
Starting at 8.30am at the Chaah Community Hall, the event was officiated by Yang Berhormat Tuan Tan Chong - the ADUN for Bekok. Present at the event was also the Village Head - Tuan Herman, the Kelab Rukun Tetangga (KRT) Chaah, Chaah Health Clinic and Caltex Chaah.
The event started with a prayer by the KRT Head for Chaah followed by a speech from YB Tuan Tan Chong. YB Tuan Tan Chong and the residents then shared a meal before they started going around the community for the “Gotong Royong”.
