Chevron Malaysia Limited (CML) partnered with the Malaysian Red Crescent Society (MRCS) via its Corporate Affairs unit to assist Johor flood victims due to the monsoon season in March. We donated RM30,000 to MRCS for this post-flood Social Initiative (SI) program, which helped 200 families in Segamat and Batu Pahat secure school uniforms & stationeries which perished during the floods.

On 20th May, CML representatives from Corporate Affairs and Retail units, led by Richard Tang, together with our Branded Marketer, Scholfield, and Caltex Service Station Chaah Retail Partner, were on-ground at SMK Seri Bali, Chaah, to distribute the school uniform and stationery vouchers, as well as Caltex branded bags and tumblers to the beneficiaries. The team also took this opportunity to join in the activities organized by MRCS, including the children's coloring contest. Present at the event was MRCS Johor Chairman cum Deputy Chairman National Committee Service; YBhg. Dato' Haji Rashidi bin Mohd Nor (in MRCS red-colored vest).

CML upholds one of our strong values to assist communities where we operate, and we are committed to ensuring our communities are taken care of during times of need.

We thank all stakeholders involved in making this initiative a successful one.
